Captain ET at the helm of his boat at golden hour

PRIVATE CHARTERS · SKIPPERED EXPERIENCES

CAPTAIN ET

Some skippers drive the boat. ET builds the day. Ten years of salt, local knowledge and an unreasonable commitment to a good time — starting with a little timber boat called Willow.

THE LEGEND

It started with a boat called Willow

Every good skipper has a first boat. Ethan's was Willow — small, honest, and always one wave away from an adventure. He learned to read weather off her deck, fix engines with what he had, and work out that the best part of any trip isn't the destination. It's the faces on the way home.

That's still the whole business plan. Willow's name is on everything he's built since.

  1. THE BEGINNING

    A little boat named Willow

Ethan's first boat. Timber, temperamental, held together with rope, resourcefulness and a bit of stubbornness. Willow taught him tides, weather, engines and patience — and gave him the first taste of what it feels like to hand someone a perfect day on the water.

  2. THE APPRENTICESHIP

    Learning the coast by heart

Thousands of hours logged: early starts, hard weather, other people's boats, other people's guests. Every bommie, bar crossing and quiet anchorage committed to memory.

  3. NOW

    Captain ET

A skipper people ask for by name. Charters that don't feel like charters — they feel like a mate with a boat who happens to be exceptional at his job.

THE EXPERIENCES

Days you'll be retelling at Christmas

The Sunset Run

from $890

3 hours

Golden hour, glassy water, cold drinks in the esky and a skipper who knows exactly where the light lands best. The easiest yes on the list.

Island Day Trip

from $1,950

Full day

Sandbars, secret coves and a lunch stop nobody else knows about. ET reads the tide and the mood, then builds the day around both.

Celebrations Afloat

from $2,400

4–6 hours

Birthdays, engagements, farewells. Speaker on, deck cleared, cake kept dry. The kind of party people talk about for years.

Fish & Chase

from $1,150

Half or full day

Bait, gear, local knowledge and a stubborn refusal to come home empty. ET has been finding fish on this coast since he was a kid.

Indicative pricing for planning purposes. Final quote depends on vessel, crew size, fuel and season.
